I’m excited to share some big news: WorkMonger is now WorkTogether Talent Consulting!

Why, you might ask? This week marks the 9th anniversary of when I launched WorkMonger at SXSWedu in Austin in 2015. What a ride! 9 years of highs and lows, of tweaks and big changes, of growth and impact, of successes and lessons learned. It has been hard, but so, so much fun.

While I spent 2015 working just by myself (trust me - it is way better with a team! 🙂), over the 9 years since then we’ve built an incredible team of talent experts who care deeply about the power of people to drive positive change in the education sector. We’ve helped hundreds of organizations committed to educational equity hire hundreds of talented, diverse, mission-aligned leaders to join their teams to move forward their important work. But it hasn’t stopped there. From talent-focused consulting work, org chart redesigns and compensation analysis to board recruitment, outplacement support, and career coaching, our services have evolved quite a lot. What hasn’t changed, however, is our deep commitment to educational equity and our firm belief that the best way to achieve it is working together with partners and leaders who share that commitment and are moving the cause forward.

And that’s why we wanted to change our name. We wanted a name that stayed true to our roots, because our values haven’t changed, but that highlighted our belief in the power of partnership to drive impact and make a difference for children and communities. After all, our unique sense of partnership is one of the main reasons our clients, both jobseekers and organizations, keep coming back, year after year. What better way to communicate who we are and how we work than our new name, WorkTogether Talent Consulting!

Lastly, I want to send a special shout-out to all my colleagues (both past and present), partners, family, and friends who have built WorkTogether into what we are today. This organization is so much more than I was dreaming of back in 2014. We never would have come so far, achieved such great impact, and had so much fun along the way without each and every one of you. Thanks for being our champions. Our friends. Our supporters. We’ll always be yours as well.
